Let’s put the money aside. We all know they bring stupid money. If money was not a factor and we had to add 1 Program from the Lone Star State, would you still have gone with A&M? Prior to joining the SEC and Johnny, I honestly didn’t even give them a second thought I sort of viewed them as another Texas Tech.

I feel like TCU would have been a good addition because weekend game day trips to Fort Worth would be pretty sweet for SEC fans. Not a lot of notable traditions within the program and not a long storied history but they can benefit from the whole Cowtown stockyards cowboy theme as they’d be the western most SEC program.

Baylor? Ehh they’d be a slightly better Vandy. Waco road trips aren’t ideal by any means. They have a nice stadium. Nice but small.

Tech, they’d be fun to party and tailgate with but road trips to Lubbock don’t sound fun unless It’s some high ranked meeting. They’d be another State or Poor man’s Auburn due to their lack of history.

UT, self explanatory. Massive blue blood brand. Austin. History. Natural fit within the SEC. Similar to having Georgia because folks love the trip there & the program is storied. Their traditions are original and unique but not in a weird way like some others.

To me it’s gotta be either UT or TCU. More so UT because Austin & the surrounding areas would be second to none in the SEC

These are the kind of posts you make when you know you’re about to have your arse handed to you.

Fantastic addition to the SEC. Should have added them back in '92.

Has proven to be a free win for any team with a pulse, so I imagine you'll get a lot of yes votes.

UT is a better school with traditions that aren’t strange and borderline cult

So you’d honestly rather have them than Texas? Y’all need to quit lying. Read that to yourself out loud and try not to laugh

Texas owns them, bama is 1-7 against Texas all-time.

They love the submissive goop-gobblers from Junior College Station.

Hell nah. I want the toughest teams with the most storied histories. If I had it my way, we would have added Oklahoma & Texas.

A&M has been the best grab of all the schools since expansion. Arky a close second.
Texas would have been nice to get as well but anyone else from the state would have been a subpar addition.I like what the Aggies bring to the table athletically and academically.

I do, they are a great fit if you ask me. A&M also holds more of the values that the typical SEC fans have unlike Texas. So yes, glad they are here.

I still think Texas and Oklahoma would be really fun additions to the SEC, even if they both think they're too good for us or whatever

Yes, and A&M fans are no worse than any Sec school going into a game. I know a TON of aTm fans and to be honest they as a whole are more down to earth that a Texas fan. Texas fans think they are better than everyone and are far more arrogant. Just my opinion.
