Mississippi State, the doormat of SEC soccer, knocked off #6 South Carolina in overtime, snapping South Carolina's 4 year old SEC unbeaten streak at 24 games.
Itr was a pretty good goal if you want to watch.

Uh... they play the game by kicking a ball with their foot. I think you meant "Real Football:"

Unranked Arkansas beat #2 A&M yesterday as well in soccer. Weird day.

Can't say enough about what our administration has done. You really got to hand it to Cohen. One of the smallest SEC schools from a revenue perspective and they have really competed well in the last 10 years in many sports. Amazing what you can do when you have a competent administration.

"Football" doesn't refer to the part that touches the ball, it refers to the part that touches the ground.

Exactly. But I made this point repeatedly when the SEC Network money was announced.
There isn't near the difference between a $150 million budget and a $90 million budget than there was when we had a $30 million budget and the SEC powers had $90 million.
State is traditionally the conference's worst women's basketball program as well. Soccer has been terrible since the beginning. They won the West one of the early years in a weird 4 way tie. They have never been ranked and they have never been to the NCAA Tournament. They are sitting at 8-1 and are the #1 RPI team in the country right now, and got the nation's attention by ending SC's 24-game unbeaten streak.
