Yet you got beat by an LSU team down about 50 defensive backs. Perhaps you could pull a one off and win a playoff game...but a team like Boise or UCF isn't going to win multiple games to win a natty.

Congrats on winning a game by 8 with our star QB hurt. The guy we had to start at QB ultimately transferred to Old Dominion bc he sucked so bad.

The new format that increases playoff games would favor the teams that are deeper, as injuries and fatigue set in. Which means Bama, tOSU, Clemson, and I'll throw in UGA and LSU as having an advantage in this format. Most of you guys don't know how much it sucks to lose a playoff game. It lingers the whole damn offseason. This is the fate for 11 of the top 12 teams under this propossal. In 2019, the year Bama didin't make it, went to the Citrus Bowl and got to beat up on a Yankee media darling. Gave the new qb and the team some confidence heading into 2020. That was much better than going to the playoffs and getting clobbered without Tua. Why would somebody want to go a playoff they have no shot of winning?
