Arky, UT and aTm all with new coaches. None of these fan bases are spouting off wholly unrealistic expectations

Georgia made the damn NC game last year and they are acting like they've been there before for some reason.

Florida steals Moo State's best coach in program history. Not making any noise.

I tell ya, bunch of broke dick dogs around here anymore.

Hell, I neglected to mention SC. I know y'all think you're going to be good this year and very little chest puffing from the Cocks.

What gives?

College football is better when the offseason is good.

Why continue to try to win the offseason when you know Bama is going to win the real season

Well LSU is going to win the SEC with a fricking skunk ape as a HC so the off-season will be rendered irrelevant anyway.

We were so used to Lyle and the VOLS talking out their asses and now he’s gone (to Bama) and V&S plus the rest of the good ol baws have flat given up on the championship and are now spending all there time in Gatlinburg chasing skanky milf ho’s.

So you want an attempt?
UK's obviously gonna rise and go undefeated next season. You will be kissing the ground of your new football over lords by the end of next January
-New transfer Juco QB to lead the offense to greatness
-Snell is back to wreck the competition
-Have kicker named blewitt
And of course our HC has tons of experience now

Pretty much guaranteed we're gonna go 15-0 and take home the national championship. Then the golden age of UK football will begin and we'll win every game for the next 15 years.
You will look on in awe as we beat every opponent by at least 50 points. You will shed tears as we steam roll over everyone, but they wont be tears of sadness or fear, they will be tears of joy for the beauty you are bearing witness to.

Saban talent + elite qb = 15-0

At this point the season is but a formality.

In fairness, we didn't try last season either. IIRC, Auburn or UGA ended up winning it. We placed solely based on tradition.

How can you compete with UT's offseason? I mean, why try?

This is so true... declarations of joe blow for Heisman -lock, eight first round NFL draft picks - lock; a defense that is "nasty" - lock; the best OL in the country - lock. The most common words used by LSU fans in any prior year offseason were "lock," "Heisman," "best," "new coach," along with the usual about refs, Chargers, SEC Office in Birmingham, and roids.

Just think of the LSU fans on this board if Jimbo had been hired, or just about anyone.... Jeff Brohm, or even Neal Brown, the coach from Troy. The slop-over from the Tr would be intolerable. But Joe Alleva has broken LSU with that wannabee thug coach he "hired," and we are all the worse for it. LSU was the engine that drove the rest of the OS competition, the gold standard of wild-eyed optimism. RIP offseason... it will be years before it recovers.
