71% completion rate and 4 TD thrown but this offense is not as efficient as last years and it’s not really close. He also had two terrible throws last night and missed a wide open receiver down field. He did great for his first start but let’s see how much he improves and the WRs improve.

Cool down. Hurts came in like a bolt of
Lightning after game 1 too, then a year later we all wanted him benched for Tua.

he didn't throw 4 first half TDs like Carolina's graduate assistant coach did - so no we're not talking about him.

Isn't he yet another one that Saban signed after a QB decommitted or am I remembering that wrong? Either way, y'all just keep lining up the #1s

He looked better than Mac Jones's debut vs Missouri last season. Manny was bringing missiles all night on those multiple blitzes and Young was sidestepping and finding space with uncanny poise and feel. His longball is legit and that just made out play-action passing attack lethal.

Jalen Hurts never had the accuracy and touch that Young has already.
Most of Hurts' passing yards that first game, first season for that matter, was from long handoffs (jet sweeps) and quick outs.
