per Brandon Marcello - the SEC has not formulated or even discussed a contingency plan for spring football season in 2021 should the 2020 season be postponed.

The conference continues to plan on starting the season on Labor Day weekend 2020 even with Covid19 cases continuing to rise in most states

the SEC and Power 5 have not ruled out delaying the season to spring of 2021. but the current plan for everyone at the moment is starting the season in the fall of 2020.

Marcello.....most Auburn fans are glad hes no longer associated with our university especially with some of the stories hes came out with regarding Gus & Auburn during the last two-three years one of those being rumors of "internal locker room fighting and Gus being unaware of the situation" during the 2018 season

Emmert said this last week...

“I certainly think that sitting here today, there will be football in the fall,” NCAA president Mark Emmert told The Athletic

Yet people still seem to be 100% sold on no football this fall for some reason.

The writing is on the wall. I’m willing to bet it all that there is no football on Labor Day. As much as I hate to say it.

Pushing it back to the Spring would raise a whole host of new problems, and solve none of the existing ones. It's a stupid idea that seems to be pushed by people who, to put it kindly, are uninformed.
