Nix was a significantly better QB in his 10th game Saturday than Fromm.

And Fromm is finishing his junior year. He still misses a throw here and there but he is clearly more talented. Both were playing behind experienced offensive lines with good receivers. Fromm even had the dynamic tailbacks to give him the advantage of a run threat.

As a true Freshman Fromm led Georgia to 13 wins, an SEC Championship, a win in the Rose Bowl and a last second loss in the National Championship.

Nix?

You really want to compare that supporting cast on offense to what Nix has at his disposal?

Experienced OL doesn’t mean talented. Our OL is all seniors but they’re still hot garbage and that’s on the HC in his recruiting failures.

So you're saying Fromm has regressed in 2 years to the point where he gets outplayed by a freshman who was not in his league at the same point in time as freshmen.

What do you lay that too? Tennessee stealing the best coach off that staff and leaving Kirby with one of his buddies to fill in. Or Fromm himself. He (Fromm) comes from a great family and he is dedicated. So I doubt it's him. UGA is loaded with talent in an ACC level division and the defense is tremendous. The D didn't break against a greatly improved Nix until it was too late. But the loss of the Big Dawg on that staff has hurt. The same one you guys were whistling past the graveyard about when he left.

One thing for sure, if you are going to run with LSU and Burrow you better get your head's out of your rectum in a hell of a hurry.

UGA's receivers this year are the biggest difference. The group is inexperienced and lacking in quickness. Fromm was always a "game manager" but he does need more open receivers to do that well. As for Nix, he may eventually be a decent qb, but not yet.

Our receivers are the biggest reason for regression of Fromm. Dropped passes, lack of separation, inexperience.
