I’ll never understand why fans feel the need to celebrate the conference that their team is in, or even their own team for that matter, making more money. Fans of SEC teams do it too, but what benefit does another couple dozen mil confer on the fans?
They’re not going to put that money toward making tickets affordable or make parking free on game days. It doesn’t make sense to me. You can say, it’s more money for my schools AD to build better facilities for recruiting advantage. That may be true, but all the schools you’re competing against are getting the same advantage.
