SEC Country article

quote:

“Steve Ensminger would be a hell of an offensive coordinator for Nick Saban,” Tuberville said

quote:

“He took a nothing offense at A&M, and we went undefeated,” Tuberville said of that 10-0-1 season.

quote:

“I think Ed made a good decision,” Tuberville said. “At LSU, you can get real good players, and you can make them even better if you teach them something.

For whatever that is worth

Wait and see on Ensminger.

Stop me if you've heard this before: it all comes down to LSU'S QB play.

I'm sure Tuberville isn't biased at all after working with him at Auburn...

If Ensminger was so good, why did Tubs replace him with Al Borges after a terrible offensive season that featured three future 1st round picks in the backfield?

Just remember, Yall pumped up Ed to make it seem accecptable.

Not saying Ensminger isnt good, but you LSU Fans need to stay away from the persuasion train.

Ensminger is an anagram for "Semen Ring."

A&M infiltration of LSU confirmed.

No shite. Saban and every other coach would love to have the best OC in the country. Fortunately for LSU, he's been hiding at TE coach for a decade and Ed O was the only man smart enough to figure it out.

This 1000x

We have not had a good qb since Flynn. Flynn could extend a play and run if needed to. That's what we have been missing. Not the offense, not the scheme it has been squarely the qb.

gotta love coach speak. its like they are rantards that want to LSU to keep alleva and special ed just to keep them down.

that "nothing offense" that tubbs speaks of in '94 had the best trio of tailbacks in SWC history. and of course they got worse every year under ensminger which ultimately got him fired.

Currently, Saban loves having Ensminger, exactly where he is. He likes toying with LSU.
