Question? Besides Nick Saban, what other SEC coach evaded service in Vietnam? He sickens me...

Actuallee OP, Saban was denied entry to the service since he was deemed too short for service.

I thought that might be it. I honestly didn't know for sure if that was true -- fortunately for me, there has not been a draft in my lifetime.

Vietnam War draft only drafted men born between 1944 and 1950. Saban was born in 1951

Not true. You could be drafted if you were in college but you could apply for a deferment.
