Simeon Castille picked off Erik Ainge, ran it back to the 3 yard line and all of us in the Alabama section at Neyland said "they won't score".

They did not, in fact, score.

Thank God the REC controls the Southeastern NFL teams also.

If they didn't, LSU with Saban would have had to be dealt with in a much more aggressive way.

The joke is really on Texas. Oil money. Right...

Yep. I had a friend relate to me his experience watching a customer watch that game back in '06. Every time we'd get a first down, he'd cheer and then say: "Now we're going to give it to Darby and he's going to f***ing suck!"

And sure enough, he'd be correct. Every time.

We did get a FG that drive, but yeah that was the era that once we got in the red zone, TDs were pretty much off the table.

We actually lead most of that game, the got Shula'd in the 4th coaching not to lost instead of coaching to win.

Was there too. Didn't they settle for a FG on 4th and goal from the 1 and Tim Castille and others were pleading with Shula to go for it?
