3 things Ed Orgeron has done that Nick Saban hasn’t
-Coach the undisputed, greatest college football team of all-time
-Recruit and groom a Heisman winning QB
-Never lost a national title game by 4 touchdowns
One thing Ogre will NEVER DO: Win 6 national championships.. EVER..

Yeah, LSU went scoreless, except those two times they didn’t. Great point!

People said he would never win one national championship and they were wrong about that too.

“I think I’m in it now because I have no circumstance that would interest me in leaving in any way, shape or form, which it’s been that way for a long time,” Saban said on The Sean Pittman Show. “The people are very committed to having the best program in the country and doing everything they can to help the players be successful, and that’s the ultimate goal that we have. We enjoy the success and the quality of people and players that we’ve been able to attract here. It’s been a lot of fun.”
This means the Jimmy Sexton phone line is open and taking all inquiries for Saban's next job.

-Nick Saban will be gone in 2 years.
-LSU will beat Alabama this year. (Do we count that as 1 or 8?)

I didn't think he would.
I was most shocked at how much of a difference moving to the RPO made. Makes me wonder how much of what we are seeing on the field is QB and how much of it is RPO. Burrow without RPO doesn't even look like a worthy backup. Burrow with RPO and suddenly he's setting records.
Didn't see it coming.

I didn't think he was gonna be able to let go of his conservative ways and also allow the offensive staff to do what they wanted to do even against lesser teams. He went away from everything he believed in this year on offense. It will be interesting to see if he can continue to do that with an inexperienced QB.

he also says your fans suck.

After the 2009 loss to Utah, he shared the blame with fans (via al.com):
'I want our fans to understand that when they don't have positive passion and energy for what we're trying to accomplish, then it affects everyone,' Saban said. 'Last year's team was a great example of that.'

“It really, if you want to know the truth about it, pisses me off when I talk to people that have this expectation like they’re disappointed that we only won the game 14-13 and the way we played. That’s frustrating. You want to talk about something that’s frustrating? That’s frustrating to me, for our players, who play with a lot of heart in the game.”

During his post-game press conference, Saban chided the students for clearing out of Bryant-Denny Stadium during the fourth quarter of the Tide's 62–10 blowout win over New Mexico State on Saturday. Despite the 95 degree tempature at the time of the 4 p.m. ET kickoff, Saban expected fans to stay the entire length of the game to contribute to the team.
"Everybody wants to be a part of the team," he said. "Everybody wants to be No. 1, but everybody don't want to do what the beast does. Everybody wants to be the beast but they don't want to do what the beast do.
