Never thought I would see Saban trust Kiffin or his qb enough for a true freshman to have 36 pass attempts.

If BAMA can't play power football, and relies on this much passing, it will cost them at least one game this year, ala Ohio state in 14, and ole miss last year.

Pass heavy plan Should help BAMA against ole miss this year from what I've seen so far. Moving forward, BAMA needs to establish power run.

Is South Carolina the worst team in sec this year? Or Kentucky? Both look like shite.

Tenn got very lucky with turnovers and VT penalties and mistakes. But Tenn was opportunistic and looks to be figuring things out a bit. I still think they lose 2 or 3 regular season games.

I wonder how many Arky fans have already had heart attacks during games this year. Lucky to be 2-0, but their games are fun to watch.

Florida fans: please wait till you play FSU before you become obnoxious. It was just Kentucky.

I totally disagree with you. Nick Saban was not going to lose to WKU so they used that game to get QB experience for film and to try and gel a QB with receivers.

I'm no fool and Saban is the best coach in the nation. This was as much to do with Kiffin too. I think it was a smart move.

I hope you're right. BAMA struggled to establish the run though, and very seldom had a good push at the LOS.

There were at least 6 of you last year when you were riding high in the top 10

Oh I know...

Poor Alabama fans. Us Florida fans always give you trouble every time we win a game.

We know that we are the scum and that Alabama fans are God's Gift to Earth.

I'll send your suggestion to McElwain tomorrow and tell him the team must lose to North Texas to shut all the Florida fans on the SEC Rant up again.

You really think Saban showed his cards? It was a good workout though.

I actually like Florida when Spurrier or Urban aren't coaching there.

And in all honesty, I would LOVE for UF to beat FSU this year.

He's allowing Hurts to develop. Lord knows I wish Miles would allow a quarterback at LSU more pass reps to develop!

I'm sure he didn't use the whole play book, but he seemed seriously pissed during and after the game. Lack of offnsive push and power running were the most glaring weaknesses imo

WKU was stacking the line a good bit challenging Hurts to throw. Y'all have nothing to worry about. Your team is a beast.

It took Florida 20 years to beat MSU in our house and then on return trip we spanked that arse. In fact, Spurrier never beat us in our house, Zook never did and Urban barely beat us and then lost to us in the swamp. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I have an observation of your posts in this thread: Bama is not an acronym.

Exactly. We are not LSU. Not gonna impose our will against 9 man fronts.

clearly they were working on the passing game, you probably won't see that many passes the rest of the season

I think the passes were more for QB development and Oline development. We had almost the exact same number of passes and runs vs. middle Tennessee state last year. And the score was about the same too.

Hurts needs the work. He's waiting too long before throwing the deep pass. Under-throwing every time.

It was for QB development, we didn't even try to run much. Please everyone relax he needed that to get down timing and reps with the receivers. Just enjoy

I hope you guys are right about the running game and Saban playing possum.

But IIRC, we weren't even able to run much during pre season scrimmages.

It was good to see Shank back to his usual "false start" form.
