All this coach love and chest thumping reminds me of the early Butch Jones days.

Everyone knows that Heupel can coach already..Its his recruiting that people were concerned about and he is proving the doubters wrong.

Everyone knew Butch Jones was building a dynasty too. Haha

Butch wasn't an Xs and Os coach at all. Two completely different cases and scenarios.

Y’all have had so many saviors. And it was always the same. Greatness was imminent. Until the season actually started.

It's going to feel really good when we kick the ever living shite out of you and your overrated secondary this season.

That’s cool. Pittman took the #5 player out of TN. 4 star OL

Which in turn Bitch Jones beat UGA twice. So does that mean that Hueple will be UGA twice in his first 3 years?
Posted on 5/24/22 at 6:59 am to Neyland TheGreat
So he’s choosing to only have 1 of the 10 best recruits in the state?

Brick by Brick OP, don't let the rabble distract you

Barely beating awful uga teams is far from greatness, and that’s a dumbass question

not sure where Tennessee ranks in producing elite football players because they're never in the top 10 lists. Too many hillbillies in that state

And as long as Jones had the QB in Dobbs it worked. He just wasn’t able to adjust without Dobbs bailing him out. The fact Huepel was able to change QBs and not go with the fan favorite is something Butch never figured out (Pruitt either).
The other noticeable difference is in the roster. Jones was able to use his 1st full class to pull a great legacy class that Huepel will not. Huepel got a gutted roster to start with and no legacy class on the horizon.
So far the edge goes to Huepel for not being a catchphrase and building a decent team from scratch.

2015 - 10-3
2016 - 8-5
Both teams was ranked in top 25 most of the season. That 10-3 team you had wasn’t an awful team so try again. But don’t forget that Butch is one of the worse coaches in UT history. And you lost to him.
