I know that 2011 class was special on paper but I guess I'm just old fashioned... I'm one of those people that believes top ranked recruiting classes should translate into wins...

Odo isn't ranked but is one of the best JUCO players coming out. Led all junior colleges in rebounding and was 3rd in blocked shots.
And we only have 5 players, Deng Deng didn't sign and wont. The recruiting class is Martin, Mickey, Quarterman, Odo and Malone.
Martin, Mickey and Quarterman are all obviously huge gets. Top 75 players in the country with Martin being Top 15 and Mickey Top 40.
Odo will be a tall, strong rebounder and shot blocker. He's not a guy who will throw up double digit points a game but he won't asked to be with Hickey, JOB III, Martin, Mickey and Stringer here.
Malone is a 7 foot 17 year old aussie who is a more athletic Del Piero with a short jumper basically for now. So he could be a big asset down the road once he adjusts from Aussie ball to american DI college ball.

You are an idiot then and know very little about the sport if you honestly think you are a lock for the NCAAT because of one good recruiting class.

You are an idiot if you think it's only the recruiting class that is the reason why. Clearly you dont have a clue about our CURRENT team and who we definitely lose right now - hint, it's a former tuba player and a guy with back problems who doesn't start.
We are a lock next year because who we are currently slated to return along with adding the one of the top classes in the country. We will have not had that kind of talent on 1 team assembled since the F4 run.
