The teams with the most recruiting pedigree – Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State – will all have new quarterbacks.

The two other usual suspects – Clemson and Oklahoma – have fallen off.

The only top 5-7 teams in the preseason poll with returning quarterbacks will be USC and Michigan.

Personally I don't think that Georgia will be as good. About to lose 3 starters on the offensive line apparently. New quarterback and new offensive line aren't a good mix. I also don't see Georgia's pass rush being any better than it was next season, and it wasn't all that great this season.

Not saying that Georgia can't win it again next season. The schedule and their reputation will allow them to get into the Final 4. But who really fricking knows.

Would you put us at preseason number 1?

My way too early prediction is that it will be bama and maybeee Ohio state in the playoffs and then two teams that haven’t gotten there (unless tcu somehow makes it again).

I see Georgia falling off (probably still win the SEC East), Clemson won’t win the acc, I could see usc winning the pac 12 and making the playoffs.

The Big 12 should be banned from the playoffs for a period of time. They've had their shite pushed in every time they make the playoff.

Ladd, AD Mitchell, Arian Smith all back at wideout (plus 2 incoming transfers)
Bowers and Delp back at TE
Milton, Edwards, Robinson back at RB
Losing Broderick at LT and SVP at center hurts but our Oline recruiting has been phenomenal
Which ever QB wins the job will have spent multiple seasons with Monken
The offense will be on par with this years team

Kamari, Bullard and Starks back in the secondary, not to mention this has been arguably the best recruited position group
Both starting middle linebackers are returning
Entire D-line not named Jalen Carter coming back (people seem to forget he was injured half this season as well)
The only perceived weakness would be OLB and the youngins on the roster got valuable snaps after Nolan went down and we signed 3 of the best in the country

We lost substantially more talent to last years draft, have the number 2 recruiting class incoming and next years schedule sets up nicely to say the least
Anyone in the East that thinks they’re “closing the gap” this off season is kidding themselves.
Next years team has as good of an opportunity as the previous 2
Go Dawgs!
Go for 3 in ‘23!

A&M will have competent coordinators on both sides of the ball. So, I think they can make some noise next season. Also, if Tennessee can get their OL straight they will be in the thick of things.

Not yet. It may take a few years for things to level out with the portal. But it’s a quick fix like juco used to be.

Georgia and Bama are going to be tough to match depth wise due to available talent.

The future of the process will be very entertaining to watch.

OSU and Bama churn out high level QBs every time the roster turns over. I'm sure this is the year it comes crashing down though

I think there’s a lot of talent in that group
If Amarius can slide over to the left side it would really help the situation

SVP hasn't declared yet.

And you guys left Morris off the list of guards.
He is our best run blocker (check him out in the 4th quarter of the NCG). Obviously, he needs to get coached up on pass protections. But he is a road grader.
