I think it has more to do with a big win @ Kentucky and a shitty win vs Georgia

Lets use a scale of 10 here..

If team A has a win against a 9/10 and a win against a 2/10

and

Team B has a win against a 6/10 and a 7/10

I'll be more impressed with Team B, tbh. It's the same argument I make in recruiting rankings. A kid isn't being dropped 5 spots because he's bad. 5 other kids are just being bumped up

Well didn't you hear Jay Williams when he said "UK got robbed of a win?" Despite it being a tie game at the tip and getting outplayed in the second half.. lolzzz. But hey, it never happened. That blue blood media forgiveness

Solid ranking IMO. Maybe LSU should be a notch higher, but TN and KY are in their rightful places.

Thankfully VOLS have a lot of opportunities left to climb back up. Just have to hope they take that frick beating as a wake up call

Not really how it works. Tennessee was 5th in NET when selection committee revealed the top 16 and they had them #2 overall.

NET is very efficiency based, LSU has very few 10+ wins compared to Kentucky and VOLS.

Their OOC has also dragged them down a fair bit

Tennessee shouldn't drop to a 2 seed just because of the UK game. No way.

Florida at 33. I don’t understand how we are so high. Is SOS that much of a factor? Really good defense? I feel like Florida is the worst offensive team in conference.

The gap between Duke, Virginia, VOLS, Gonzaga, and Kentucky was already razor tight to begin with.

No issue with temporarily dropping after getting pantsed in the prime time slot. We have at a minimum 5 Q1 games left to make up the ground

Not surprised. A win over the third place team in a baseball centric conference ain’t gonna do much for seeding. Alas we can only play what scrubs the league trots out there for us so not much else to do

A win at UK doesn't mean anything these days,

Pretty much. But it makes sense. Kentucky lost to Duke by like 60 so no one really views them as a power anymore.

Not when it involves a blatant miss by the refs, no.

2 blatant misses by refs against both teams.

But you already knew that.

You realize the 14 was with Kentucky right? We dropped to 16 after the UGA win. NET is updated every weekday. LSU's NET was #14 on Friday last week.

Yep not much value in beating a third place team in a baseball centric conference that has proven they can’t matchup with the elite bigs e.g. Zion Williamson naz Reid and emmitt Williams.
