If the SEC is the only conference that plus this year, which teams do you expect to gain the most new fans? I assume people are going to want to have some sort of routing interest even if they are normally a fan of another team in a non playing conference. Sports just aren’t the same with nothing on the line.

I expect due to the like ability of Coach O that LSU, would pick up quite a few extra fans this year.

As crazy as it may sound, not everyone wants to be an LSU fan.

If there is no prior tie to another school, the bandwagoners will flock to LSU and Bama due to recent success

Nobody is going to say "Last year I pulled for Wisconsin, but since we're not playing I'm an Arkansas fan now!"

I think the Big10 loses a lot of fans but I don't know if they become SEC fans...and who would want them among us??? Can you imagine having to pretend to like an Ohio State fan in a bar because he had on a brand new LSU hat???? UNTHINKABLE

so if clempson continues to dominate the natty every year, are you thinking you may jump ship?

where did you come up with this crap?

i do realize that many fans will flock to a winning program just to boost their pride but come on.

What exactly are you saying? He isn't referring to LSU's Success last year. He is just saying that because of How likable coach O is, people could end up becoming a fan for the year. Coach O is one of the most likable coaches in college Football regardless if you are an LSU fan or not.

Probably LSU because of recent success and Coach O and State because of Mike Leach. I’ve already seen a bunch of WSU, Texas Tech fans on social media jump on the State bandwagon. You could make an argument for Florida too. No telling how many westerners took one vacation to the panhandle and try to assimilate to the jort lifestyle.

Kentucky/Missouri/Vanderbilt aren’t gaining a single fan this year.

Ohio will adopt Kentucky because of the number of players we have from there. We already have a large fan base in southern Ohio and the Dayton area.

Vanderbilt will be the new love of of all the immigrant fans from other conferences.............in the FUTILE hopes of seeing the nemesis of their teams (Alabama, LSU, Georgia, etc., who have consistently smoked 'em in bowls) lose to a bottom feeder.

How many lucky horseshoes can Gus fit up his arse? Auburn will probably find a way to top "Miracle in JH" and "Kick Six" go undefeated and become Muricas Team.
