It’s gonna suck seeing aTm in the playoff after we lose to Bama.

after Clemson beats Notre Dame in the ACC title game, and if Alabama beats UF, I think the playoff teams will be
Alabama
Ohio State
Clemson
Notre Dame
Because, well, Notre Dame
Alabama
Ohio State
Clemson
Notre Dame
Because, well, Notre Dame

If we could get three ND/Clemson games in one year, that would be the cherry on top of this shitsandwich of a year.

Why do the coaches have Florida ranked ahead of A&M? The coaches are also a lot higher on Auburn than the AP voters.

Because it’s their misinformed assistants that don’t understand what it means to prove it on the field that voted.

Idk why it’s such a big deal.
It’s gonna sort itself out in the SECCG.
If UF loses, A&M ends up in the playoff.
If UF beats Bama, UF gets in.
Edit: I should add UF lost by 3 in College Station. And that was with A&M having a 10 min TOP advantage. It’s not like A&M is miles better than UF.

You really believe A&M survives the evil Jordan-Hare 2020 juju? Not a dubya..

We are a significantly different team with Campbell in the game, and the polls care less about what happened weeks ago and more about what happened now.
There were also several benefits (A&M being the home team in an early game and really only won on a last second field goal) that might not be enjoyed on a neutral field.
I mean, just look at the scoring before and after Campbell.
100 thru three games (A&M, Ole Miss and South Carolina, 33.3 average).
97 thru last four games. (Georgia, Missouri, Arkansas, Vanderbilt)
In Georgia and Arkansas, they really only scored when the game was out of reach. Georgia had 21 offensive points, Missouri had 10. (Two pick sixes.)
Arkansas scored 21 points but we were already cruising and scored two garbage touchdowns in the end.
So really, after adjusting for picks and garbage touchdowns it goes from 97 to 69 (nice) for four games.
Simply put: We're a different team.
That's why Ole Miss wasn't the National Champion of 2008, nor Auburn in 2006.

A&M has only ever lost once in Jordan-Hare, and never as a ranked team.

That's a lot of words trying to justify why the Florida/Texas A&M head to head doesn't matter.

How many spots does AU jump when we lay it on Bama Saturday?
