If ND stays within 7-10they should stay in top 4. If Clemson beats them pretty handily at full strength ND should fall out.
The ACC has already adjusted their rules to keep ND undefeated going into their conference championship game. I'm sure they will keep the score close in order to give Clemson the win and keep ND in the Playoffs. That way there will be two ACC teams in.
Now if the SEC should convince Saban to let aTm win by 3 points, the selection committee would really have a problem.

A&M is basically hosed if Clemson wins and OSU somehow suddenly can get the minimum games in to get to the B1G championship. I see that somehow their game is back on this weekend?
It appears that the B1G is going to do everything they can to accommodate OSU this year. Not surprised ... And if style points matter, then this is just an exercise
Fisher doesn't coach that way

A 1 loss Florida, Bama, Notre Dame, & Clemson will go over A&M.

If ND and CU both get in, how do they get seeded?
1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
quote:Depends on what happens with Bama, Florida and Ohio State.
Do you have them 2/3 and have them rematch in the semis (so they play each other in back to back games), or do you seed them 2/4 or 3/4 and have the possibility of a third game in the national title game?
You can make that exact same argument with Florida and Bama.
If Florida beats Bama should Bama go home and A&M play?
The job of the committee is to get the best 4 teams in a playoff not to worry about matchups

The buckeyes are teetering on 5 games even if things go well this weekend and Michigan holding their playoff future in their paws next week for the magic 6th game. Advantage TAMU
They’re the most talented team in the country.

Our best bet is to get to 9-1 and Ohio State only get 5 or 6 games in (and preferably not win by 30+ in the remaining games).

I wonder if Fisher realizes yet that style points matter in our position.

Depends. Is Notre Dame better than A&M? Then in this scenario, they should get the nod.
The 4 best should be the 4 best not any of this subjective "deserved" non-sense.
Agreed - just decide who the four best teams are (even though they largely don't play each other or have any common opponents) without any of this subjective bullshite.

Also gotta stop playing shitty teams close. Need to demolish them or you run the risk of Cincinnati getting in

ND won't have to play Clemson so the ACC can get 2 in.
So we're just making up random crap I guess?

This is not 2012 ND. They're solid as Hell.
As much as I hate to, I agree completely with this. What's amazing as well is that a Notre Dame QB is playing fantastic football and hardly getting talked about. The only ACC QB who should even be in Heisman consideration is Ian Book.

Aggie dominated Florida in every single statistical category, and more than doubled, more than doubled Florida in rushing yards. Dominated time of possession by 40%
Aggie was in control of that game the entire time

If Kellen Mond plays this Saturday anything like he did last Saturday, aTm won't have to worry about what the other teams are doing.
