These coaches get younger and younger. At one time in the past these head coaches had many years as position coaches and coordinators. They would get these big jobs well into the 40s and into the 50s. Now they will soon be 30 year olds hired who didn't put in the years to earn these jobs.

Nobody said it's easy, but Nick Saban did it at LSU, Les Miles did it at LSU and Ed O did it at LSU. Do you have good reasons to believe that Brian Kelly can't do it too?

They sure are. One could even say they're a dying breed. Obviously Saban has mastered it. When they're mad, it definitely ain't for show. I assume Kelly is more oriented as old school, at least I hope he is.

And how long had he been the DC under Saban? Freeman has been a P5 coordinator for one year. His is OC is in his second year and has never run his own offense.
