Too bad we can’t platoon your team on offense and our team on defense.

Alabama is missing a Petty who can match-up against an elite scorer, and a Jones who can float and clean up garbage.

I don't know exactly who LSU is missing by comparison, but their lack of offensive production is almost staggering.

Both teams have a lot of work to do.

Adam Miller was supposed to be that guy, but he tore his ACL right before the season started

The loss of Adam Miller in the Fall was really bad for LSU. He is by far our best shooter on a team that struggles to shoot. Right now not having Pinson is a serious problem because his playmaking was really our sole offense. The off the ball movement is terrible, the actual ball movement is too often non-existent and we don’t really have a go to guy to get a bucket. We’ll see how far defense will carry us.

The things a player like Herb Jones brings you is hard to quantify. Incredible defense, great leadership and always making the right basketball play. I mean the guy won conference player of the year (and should have) averaging less than 12 points a game. All the little things add up and when you lose that it’s almost impossible not to take a step back.

Adam Miller out all season was supposed to be teams leader on offense/potentially best player.

We missed Murray, starting SG against Auburn and Pinson starting PG against Florida and Arkansas more recently. We havent had a very stable lineup in SEC play so far specifically at guard.

Not that we'd be a good offensive team if Pinson/Murray didnt miss time recently but that starts to explain on top of Miller (a guard) being out the whole season makes things even worse when you're missing other starting guards as well.

Not to worry, you'll be able to do whatever you want offensively on Wednesday.

I’ll be more confident if Pinson is back. We really struggle to find any consistency on offense. The only game I thought we looked fairly good was against Florida. And that, oddly enough, was without Pinson.

Did you really?

We literally didn't core for the first 9ish min and they only were up 12.
