NC State is 6-3 and Virginia Tech is 7-2 right now.

Both would fit perfectly in the SEC. Neither North Carolina nor Virginia are in a position to oppose such a change.

16 members in the SEC is ideal.

There is no logical reason why we are not getting to this point.

Yeah, not happening. At least not NCSU. The state government would never allow them to be separated from UNC. They'd do their damnedest to make sure the entire big 4 (UNC, Duke, NCSU, and WF) stays together, though they obviously don't have the same power over Duke and WF,

The SEC would take NC State in a heartbeat.

How, exactly, would you stop us from doing so?

Stop being so arrogant.

With ESPN losing veiwership, how does that affect bringing in two new schools? Will ESPN be willing to pony up big bucks for these schools. I don't think it's really a buyer's market for schools right now so we should stay until the right deal cones along.

I wanted Clemson and FSU over aTm & MiZzzou, back during expansion but would gladly add VT and NC State.

Well, NCSU is part of the UNC system. And VT used politicians to force their way into the ACC. Not to mention the buyout.

Those two will be the next two added to the SEC, if another expansion occurs.

I would prefer UNC and Duke. I would want to improve the basket ball side with elite programs rather then average football programs.

NC State cares too much about basketball.

And doesn't care about football unless they're good.

True Story, I know from family experience.

Never leaving the ACC.

Think too highly of the Academic prowess of the conference (yea I know how could they with FSU in the conference)
