There's a very real chance that UGA 2016 #93KDay topped 100k,but there's no way to prove it. The Athens-Clarke County Fire Marshal's office door had a "Gone Fishin'" sign that day.

You're not Big 6 if you don't inflate your Spring game attendance numbers

Everyone I've spoken with who was there (four family members) say that if there were 35-40k there they would be surprised.

My dad was there, lower bowl was full, few thousand in the upper level, 50K is likely more accurate than 35-40k or 65K

I think it's embarrassing to put 50k in for a spring game

Because it's a scripted practice and boring as shite. Who cares how many people show up for a practice? I've never understood it.

Sanford always looks tiny to me, it's so surprising it seats 92K. I'd say that's the sign of a well designed stadium, for it to seat that many people and not have massively towering upper decks. Unfortunately I can't speak any more educated than that as the two times I've been I was right at the borderline of blackout.

Top ten attendance all time

The 2007 Alabama A-Day game would have lapped the entire field if the stadium had been large enough. There were well over 100,000 people trying to squeeze into what at the time was a 92,138-seat facility. They quit letting more in once the ramps to the upper deck started to back up.

More than a practice a despecially if you wanna get a peak at early
enrollees.

More importantly,it's a great impression for the multitudes of recruits who are there for the weekend.

Are you on something ? Georgia had limited seating - somewhere around 83,000 due to west end zone upgrades. It was well publicized that there could be a problem getting in if you' didn't arrive early. I know several older fans who didn't go because they thought they might not be able to get a seat. In spite of this uncertainty UGA had a full house - over 83,000. We love our DAWGS

Really??? We taped the Bama Spring game and I saw a lot of fans disguised as empty seats. Lol! We were surprised. Thought they would have pulled better than this.

Not a bad idea. We had the biggest SEC crowd. Second only to Nebraska nationwide and we had over 10, 000 seats unavailable due to ongoing construction. A banner isn't necessary though. We know how special Georgia is and we don't need banners celebrating how lucky those in attendance were to be there
