It sounds like the media is just offended that Miller wasn’t linked to the original story. The cops obviously knew what happened and didn’t bother charging the guy. IF that is the case, I don’t see a story here. If this had been me instead of Miller, this revelation doesn’t even make the Tuscaloosa News.

I’m not sure how you defend him if what I’m reading is true. His car was used to block the end of the street and the gun was in his car. That’s accessory at the minimum.
