Maybe I've gotten soft in my older age, but that championship run last year will leave me content for at least 3-5 bad seasons. If your team won a championship, how many bad seasons would you endure before getting fed up?

Side note: I'm not giving up on the Tigers this year, I think they were going to be incredible before all the departures, and now will still be a very good team for years to come. I have full faith in Coach O.

I mean shite some of these teams have 0 championships. Each one is special and you can’t take any for granted

That's easy to say now, but you'll feel differently when the ball is kicked off.

BAD seasons or mediocre 8 win seasons? Asking for a friend.

I know what you mean. The 2009 national championship for my team took away the sting of losing to ULM and made the Shula years a little more palatable. Had no clue then we’d get four more. It does help to lighten the burden of a bad season

I would say 6-8 win seasons for a couple years. Then show some progress to 8-9 win seasons. Then a NY6 bowl win. Then another NC. I think that pattern every 10 years would be fantastic. Just long enough to feel all the phases of a sports fan and appreciate every step of it.

Y’all a season last year was one of the best in college football history. I hated it cane at the expense of my team, but it as a football fan it was really a pleasure watching that offense. Joe Burrow and company earned everyone’s respect.
