Anytime Oregon plays a defense with a pulse, they lose. They have been the most overrated team in recent years.

I think Clemson is on the verge of a special season this year. They have a top 5 team returning in my opinion. Does that mean they will finish top 5? Who knows. I'm sure they'll lose to NC State or some team they shouldnt.
They lose to UGA right outta the chute...

Hasn't South Carolina had 3 straight 11 win seasons in the SEC? Not looking it up.

No we've had 2. However, we are one of only three teams to win 30+ games in the last three yrs in Div 1 football. So I think we should be ranked no lower than 7-8. Only LSU and Bama have won that many games in the same time span.

Alabama and LSU have conference and national championships to go along with those 30+ wins though. South Carolina has yet to make it to a BCS bowl.

why in the frick would you rank florida 2nd? In the last 4 years they have only won the east once and have had a few pretty bad years throw in there.

Good question. They had a great year last year, have good coaching, fertile recruiting ground and won NC's recently. It just seems like they are back. But, yeah, they probably should be dropped. The more I think about it, the more that I realize that LSU should be #2. I was trying not to be a homer, but you just can't escape it.

So what's your point??? Doesn't water down our 30+ w's.

I don't think were the only team to never make a BCS bowl either sooooo....yeah. Kinda hard to get to a BCS bowl you make it sound as if there just giving away BCS invites. Hell Arkansas made a BCS bowl do u think there a top 10 team "RIGHT NOW"

Label me with whichever :hornsessed: moniker you choose to apply; but come on ... Texas? Right now? Absolutely, they were a top-10 program a few years ago. But "RIGHT NOW," the program is imploding from within. You want to see a dumpster fire? Head on over to the 40 Acres.

I'm fine w you not putting TAMU on your list; but Tex (and even Oklahoma, to an extent) is a purely historic pick on your part.

He has AU, Texas, USC, and WV on his list. Don't pay any attention to him. That list is shite.

No….but if you're going to call yourself a Top 10 program then that would be a good event to be able to say you've been to.

LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia are the only teams I would put in the Top 10 from the SEC. And before you go on about South Carolina beating them the past few years, please remember that, despite South Carolina going 11-2 for the past two years, Georgia has won the SEC East the last two years and were just five yards away from a national championship back in December.

The Top 10 teams, in no particular order, are:

Oregon
Boise State
Oklahoma
Notre Dame
Stanford
Ohio State
Alabama
Florida
LSU
Georgia
