Somebody who didn’t really light up the nfl but in college you hated to see on Saturday and were glad when they left. For me the first guy that comes to mind is Jacob Hester. I was so happy when I no longer saw that freight train no.18 lined up in the backfield for lsu.

Courtney Taylor. Iirc he got diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which probably all but ended his shot at a pro career, but he was a real good receiver in college. Probably underrated.

ETA: if you google him, be sure to put “Courtney Taylor football” or “Courtney Taylor auburn” or something. He’s not the most famous Courtney Taylor…

Tebow wasn’t even that good. He just had a cool name and a big tittie girlfriend

His 3rd and medium runs that extended drives were absolute killers. Plus if he got into a goal line situation, there was virtually no stopping that offense from scoring a TD

Yep I always said when watching Tebow that he was a fullback playing quarterback. When the spread option was new you couldn’t stop that bulldozer from getting 4/5 yards

Trent Richardson. I thought he would tear up the NFL like he did the SEC

Trent was just too strong for the college athletes. Once his strength was matched, his lack of vision showed.

This dude was the best running back in the league for a few years when running backs touched the ball 40 times a game.

Percy harvin also had some really good years for Seattle although I’d say he kind of fits this mold. I thought Percy harvin, Reggie bush and Darren McFadden would dominate the nfl for a decade because in college all three of those dudes were unstoppable

Pharoh Cooper was really good when he was at SCAR. We never played against him in college, but he had a stretch of two seasons where he had a case for being the best receiver in the conference.
