9h

Alabama RB Najee Harris’ flight from Dallas to Birmingham was cancelled last night due to lightning, so with no other travel options available, Harris drove nine hours to make it to Alabama’s Pro Day by 10 am today. He’s not even working out today but wanted to support teammates.

That’s cool. He’s an infinitely likable guy.

Dude was so good in 19 and 20.

I still remember his TD catch in the 19 game and thinking “Damn. There is nothing a LB cam do to stop that. Awesome play”

I keep seeing second round to the Lions on his draft projection.

I think it would have been better if he hadn’t told the world about his travel arrangements and just showed up. But then we wouldn’t be talking about what a “good dude” he is, would we?

I really hope the Falcons have the sense to find a way to get him. Going to be a great NFL RB and a benefit to any locker room he is in. Najee as the primary with Gurley secondary would be choice

That's like a career death sentence. Plus, Detroit is a shite hole.

I think in NH's rookie season Gurley would be the primary. But it would be a good one/two punch at rb.

Well I see other sites have him going elsewhere, so let's hope for his sake.

I'm not seeing how a guy driving somewhere qualitates any measure of being a good dude.

I highly suspect his agent telling him to get his arse there and meet w/ the scouts.

probably

I just read a comment from an article. "The most concerning thing is his speed. He should've been there half an hour earlier."

I might have driven anyway. Packing TSA approved luggage, driving to the airport, going through the TSA, waiting at the gate, flying to BHM, getting off the plane, renting a car (or having to have someone chauffeur you around), and driving to Tuscaloosa isn’t a hell of a lot more convenient.

Dallas to Tuscaloosa is a boring drive but not a bad one. Interstate the whole way.

Not a valid scrabble word, so not a valid point of view.

I’ve always like him as a person. Sucks he played for Alabama.
