He really did. I said the same thing from the word jump. The first time they zoomed in on his eyes on the field he looked terrified

I'd like to say that would be improved with experience, but he doesn't appear to have the "it" factor unfortunately. Will be a long year for us Tigahs.

In the limited snaps I saw from him last year, I saw nothing to make me believe that he was ready to take the job.
That said, I also felt there were games where Coach O let Burrow stat pad in blow out 4th quarters instead of giving Brennan reps that might have helped his development.
Ultimately, we should have pursued a transfer (preferably King at Miami), if for no other reason, another upperclassman to push Brennan for the job. And if Brennan couldn't beat him out, so be it.

Yet, with all the pressure MSU put on him he has the 4th best QBR in the SEC after his 1st career start while 4-year starter Kellen Mond was only sacked once and sits at #11 in the SEC. Go figure.
