My roommate is infected right now we’re both in our 20s and 30s and the only symptoms he has is loss of smell and taste he still going to the beach and fishing even though he shouldn’t and I’ve been around him and I have no symptoms whatsoever my test results should be coming in shortly I’m staying at the house just playing video games etc. I feel fine he feels fine. I’m not saying to downplay this because I know many people have died and especially people with pre-existing conditions need to be very careful and people who are infected need to be careful and either be isolated or not around very many people when he goes to the beach to fish hes not around anybody. I don’t even think I have it but I’ll update this when I find out my results luckily I still have a job and I get two weeks off with pay. Everybody stay safe out there. I hope we have football season but I doubt it.

I could link you about three different studies that say mask absolutely work in fact even the worst mask which is just a cloth mask stops around 85% of particles that are even 20 times smaller than the viral particles that come out from a sneeze if you would like I can find you the study that shows you are absolutely wrong.

Your roommate is a piece of work. He may feel fine but he will undoubtedly spread it to others that may not feel so fine. Very ignorant of him.

LINK

There is the link that has the study showing how they measured the particles and how effective mask are at stopping them.

Key points:
One important detail: the particle counter they used measured particles as small as 0.007 microns. That’s over 10 times smaller than the coronavirus particle diameter. We’re talking about truly tiny particles here!

They tested a whole range of masks, and here’s what they found:

Even poorly performing masks captured over 90% of viruses. The researchers chose two N95 masks that scored poorly in an earlier study, yet even these poor-performers still blocked 94% of particles under the heaviest air flow rate.

Several 3M masks were able to capture over 99% of tiny 0.01 micron particles (10 times smaller than the coronavirus), even while on people’s face. What’s more, surgical masks were surprisingly effective, capturing 63% of the tiny virus-sized particles.

Dont have covid, but my dad had a massive heart attack on the way to the hospital last week and is in CCU. It was looking pretty bleak last week, but things are looking better now. He still in critical condition, but awake and talking. Its killing me not being able to call or see him. The last time I saw him, they were dragging him out of my car.

Yeah anyone adversely affected. It could be you are unable to receive treatment due to the unusual circumstances, it could be that your income has evaporated, or it could be that you or someone you know has caught COVID.
