We are a big enough program Basketball wise. Lack of football development has spurred basketball development in the state increasing the talent pool. It can be done.

By all accounts this team we have right now should be 8-3 if not 7-4. We are not all that good. Through coaching/developing, energy level, and culture/attitude change Muss has them at 10-1.

Pearl and Auburn you are on notice. There is another actual good coach in the conference at a historically better basketball program.

Cal and Kentucky. We are coming back and we are bringing hell with us!

This alone explains it. Muss is good enough to break the Pioneer game thread curse.

We are in year 1 under Muss and at 10-1. Muss' first real recruiting class is sitting at #5 nationally. We have the talent coming and recruiting wont fall off much. A top 10 class every year puts you in the hunt.

If you beat us it will only help your SoS. I'd root for us seeing as Kentucky is faltering.

Oh boy.

Muss is a smart basketball coach with plenty of experience.

I'm not going to call other teams out,but I believe he will do very well here.

He's the best BASKETBALL COACH we've had since Sutton.

No offense to Nolan or Mike, but this guy coaches in practice AND in games.

I liked how the forty minutes of hell worked til it became ineffective. The coaching was done at practice and when things turned bad there was no plan B it seemed.

Muss has them playing brutal defense and has a plan for half court offense. This is a breath of fresh air as a basketball fan.

We'll do well under this guy.And his recruiting gives me a shot of adrenaline.

Mike Anderson beat a top 15 team tonight on the road. 2nd ranked team he has beaten this season. He also took UAB to the sweet 16 and Mizzou to the elite 8. Why couldn't he win at Arkansas? I doubt Musselman will be able to either.

Mike got complacent here. Muss currently has the 5th ranked class in the country. When was the last time Mike recruited our state like Muss has and finished with a top 5 class . Or even top 10?

Ask Mike why he couldn't get it done here. Our state's best players went to other teams. Why Mike?

Muss has a top 5 class coming in next year and has Mike's players sitting at 10-1 right now with no legit center on the team.

We'll get our in state players now and the sky is the limit.

Go Hogs!

Mike was very solid here and had two very good teams. He did win here he just didn't win big enough but his roster management virtually always left us needing something

We would have the guards one year but no inside presence. Then one year we would have the inside guys but the guards would be inexperienced or lacking

I wouldn't mind if Arkansas returned to basketball glory. Outside of OU hoops, Arkansas hoops has been somewhat of an exciting spectacle when they want to be. If Hogs can return to the days of Nolan Richardson and get a phenom like Corliss Williamson, then lookout.

Let's slow down a little. This will be a 3 year rebuild.

Minnesota is a historically better football program than most. So what does that mean for today?
