It's now up to LSU to take out Ala from the SEC West, regardless, we're going to enjoy seeing some new blood representing the SEC. Even Missouri has a shot. Imagine that, the competition for SEC division champs is really down to Missouri, Fla, and LSU, and Alabama.

6 teams still control their own destiny and Georgia is one of them

Ga's done, they don't have the offense to hang with Fla. And Aub's done, they don't have the offense to hang with LSU!

has anyone asked if UF has the offense to hang with us?

We still have not allowed a rushing TD. I believe we have only given up like 6 TDs all season. And this is with guys banged up that should be healthy by jax.

I feel a frick ton less confident than I did last week, but I mean it's not like they're going to score at will on us.

I think Florida can manage 20 god damn points.

No one, and I mean NO ONE, is worried about UGA's shitty offense.

You keep telling yourself that. If you say it enough, maybe, just maybe, you will start to believe it.

UFORFEIT will be formidable, UGA is a work in progress and Mizzou is hiding in the grass. I like the Gators if I had to pick.

Don't bet on it, Fla and Trask are not ND, and Ga simply hasn't the offensive weapons Fla has.

our offense hasn't given up more than 17 points all year.

didn't say anyoen should be, I'm saying UF needs to worry about how they're going to score. Let's also point out that aside from a few WRs our offense (QB, OL, RBs, playcalling philosophy) is the exact same as last year..which we won. Remember they still have todd grantham.

Yea - all last weekend did was tell me that Florida/Georgia is closer to a toss up than a solid Georgia win and that Missouri may have an outside chance at splitting those games.

It's really dumb to conclude that Georgia is done and gonna go 8-4/9-3 now. Really dumb.

I get it, not thinking about LSU and Burrow, helps you not wet the bed at night.

I just don't understand giving in to mass overreaction like that.

If Georgia comes out and squeaks by Kentucky this weekend? Alright, yea, time to consider that they may be done. But hell, we're talking about how good Missouri is (and I think they are good)...............THEY LOST TO WYOMING. Florida barely beat Kentucky.

But hey, that was all of like 5 weeks ago who even remembers that. Georgia lost to South Carolina 4 days ago, that's ALL I remember now!

exactly, although I will say the SC game was a little more disturbing than some of our other losses. Still, we've seen this before.

2017: shellacked by AU by damn near 30 points. Turned around 3 weeks later and beat them by 3 TDs

2018: Lost by 20 to LSU. Then beat top 10 UF, top 10 UK, and AU in a row and almost won the SEC

Granted SC is really bad which is worrisome, but it's not like we haven't righted the ship before.

Yea, that game confirmed some things about the Georgia offense for me - Coley is just not very good and Georgia doesn't have any receivers who can run themselves open. They have some guys who are good (and will get better), but they are good at certain things (contested catches - Cager/Pickins).

The ceiling on Georgia's offense is a whole lot lower to me now than I thought it was back in August. That doesn't mean they can't win out, but it does shrink the margin of error for the defense and the running game.

Still, like you said, it's not like UGA hasn't laid some huge stinkers the last 2 years and then gotten up off the mat. And it isn't like their remaining opponents are world beaters who haven't thrown their own stinkers out there.

you can think you've planned ahead well enough then life just laughs at you. We knew we lost terry godwin to graduation last year, but I highly doubt our coaches foresaw both hardman and ridley leaving early, then hollomon getting booted in the preseason. That was a massive blow. If we had any 1 of those guys back I think our offense looks mighty different.

I wish we would permanently bench simmons and landers and never play them again, and let Pickens, Cager, DRob, and Blaylock get all of the WR reps.
