Going to win 11+ in Starkville next year. Loses nothing from this team in the off-season and gains some elite talent at positions of need (CB, WR).

I will bet you any amount of money that State won't win 11 games next year

I mean, its one more game than this year (bowl included) and we trade UGA for Florida on the schedule. Seems completely reasonable.

Will Auburn hire him after Arkansas takes Gus?

It's a shame he is wasting his career there. If he was somewhere with decent talent he would have been another Mark Richt.

I would take him over some random coach at a small school or a coordinator. Even more than some NFL coach that has never coached college.

An Allbarner congratulating MSU. Auburn went 3-9 in 2012.

Last time MSU sucked that bad was during the Croom years when he lost to you rednecks 3-2 in 2008.

Think. Re-Think. Post.

PSA for tRant. Anytime Mullen’s name is in Subject Line means the poster has become scared of Mississippi State

Yep. Lots of posters on here have come to the realization that their own schools have been run into the ground by stupid decision making and horrible coaching hires. Meanwhile, Mississippi State, with the smallest athletic budget in the conference, has built the football program into a real SEC power while also fielding a men’s baseball team and a women’s basketball team that have both played for a national championship in the last 5 years. Yep, feels good to be a Dog right now.

You'd make a mistake. 18 starters, plus Guidry, Heath and Jason (hopefully) coming at WR. Dear coming back. Fitz finna eat.

"Wasting his career" He's getting paid fine and he seems comfortable. How is that wasted?

So just a few years before Auburn’s...

Was that supposed to be a burn or an accomplishment? Can’t tell since y’all don’t have any real accomplishments.

Agreed and it’s stable. He really could coach there for 10 plus more and have stuff named after him if he wanted.
