If it were to come to this, who would you want your neutral site game to be against? And where would you want to play it?
For fun, lets assume it's one of your permanent opponents.
Obviously, we have 4 teams now doing the neutral thing:
UGA / FL in Jacksonville and aTm/ Ark in Dallas.
For Bama, most likely would choose Auburn in Birmingham again, although no Auburn fan wants that, and not to mention that Legion Field is more like Legionnaires' Disease Field these days.

the neutral site conference game every year will not happen due to recruiting

Auburn would never agree to move iron bowl back to Birmingham. That’s a non starter.

State should play Kentucky on a rotation of Nashville and Memphis.
State would end up playing LSU in New Orleans.

Give us Kentucky somewhere in the middle. The home and home egg bowl is too good and i feel like there would be murders if they blended

I like it. UK/UT in Nashville would be fun.

Legion Field vs Auburn would make heads explode, so I'm pretty it's out of the question.

The main issue I see with the neutral sites is that you have to have a neutral site that wants to host the game.
Alabama vs LSU type game would be an easy sale. Vandy vs Missouri, not so much.

If they could build a stadium large enough, Alabama-Auburn in Mobile would be nice

You’ll do as told.

That’s going to be a no from me, dog.
I can’t wait until A&M gets this stupid game out of Arlington and back on campus. You can not deny us our trip to Fayetteville and the piggies trip to the greatest stadium in college football.

Mullen, now in the Easy, I mean EAST, wants to have an easier slate at Florida huh? Interesting.

quote:Lol what no the frick you wouldn’t. State would be paired with Vandy or Kentucky. Not with one of the Big 6.
State would end up playing LSU in New Orleans.
It wouldn’t be a cross division thing.
Georgia and Florida have Jacksonville
Arkansas and A&M have Jerry World
fricking state trying to act like a player is adorable

If it were done I’d want State neutral site. Starkville is the worst trip in the SECW.

Auburn.
Those games at Legion Field were lit in the 1980s. Y'all know it's true, too.
