He should have taken the penalty for running into the kicker instead of taking the field goal. It would have been 4th and 1 at the 2-yard line. MSU could have gotten a 1st down with a one-yard gain and a touch down with a 2-yard gain.

Mullen had his team on the Alabama side of the field with 4th and short twice and punted.

Nobody beats Alabama unless they give it 100% and play aggressive for 60 minutes.

My opinion of Mullens Game-Day coaching abilities have changed drastically. He's not the man to lead Florida or any other BIG BOY team.

He out coached Saban for 90% of the game.

Made one bad call at the end of the game.

You're an idiot. Alabama was flat. After you've been #1 for 10 years it's hard to get up for every game. The only reason MSU kept it a contest is because they coverted on 3rd down. Alabama's D played the flattest game I've seen them play in years and still won going away blowing up MSU in the 4th quarter.

Our D-Line didnt play flat.

They got their arse kicked.

But keep making excuses. Will be a real shock to you when Auburn runs it up our arse im sure.

He also had 3 minutes left at the end of the game to put together a game-winning drive but decided to play safe and go to overtime.

Oops.

Don't really thinks that's correct. Yes, Bama struggled on Defense but a lot of that can be attributed to a shite ton of injuries at the most important position for the Bama defense. MSST did play very well for most of the game.

Bama's offense scored fast most of the time putting the D back out on the field vs. a team that deliberately played slow to milk the clock and shorten the game. It worked because Bama couldn't makenthe stops on 3rd down consistently. Again, injuries and State playing very well.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when Mullen didn't go for it on fourth and three when they were on Bama's 42 yard line. Mississippi State was 7/8 in third and short (1-3 yards) and third and medium (4-6 yards) for the game. Bama couldn't stop them in those situations the entire night. Plus it would have allowed them to bleed the clock even more and potentially force Bama to come back from a deficit with little time left in the clock. You need to play to win the game in that situation instead of worrying about field position.

Saban just lined up and played defense like a moron for most of the game until the end where he decided to finally bring pressure.

He got outcoached.

You guys love to use the term "Saban got outcoached"
Does that make you guys feel better or something ?
The bottom line is BAMA's defense is depleted from all of the injuries, and Miss State played very well.
Hurts won this game for BAMA in the 4th quarter, along with the defense being successful on some desperation blitzes.

Uhhh... we are now...

Good god 7SU... why not add something about fake NCs, refs, FBI, SEC office, Chargers, schedules, Bear Bryant drunk, Saban short, and LSU to the Big12, just to cover all the bases? That would help insure that your obsession and jealously is noticed and properly appreciated...and your post would then be in context with your seven-year-melt.

It is freaking sad that you felt you needed to post at all...
