winner plays Baylor. Middle Tennessee and Louisville on the other side of the bracket. Gonna be tough to get to New York.

MSU played Nebraska at the Hump in an exhibition to start the season. Nebraska won by 3.

LSU is opposite Utah. St. Marys is the 1 seed in the LSU bracket

Looks like State would have to win @ Baylor and @ Louisville to get to the NIT. Sounds brutal on paper but idk how good either are.

I wished all the NIT teams would really put out effort.
In many ways, this could be a fun tournament to watch with a number of quality teams and matchups.

People interested in the NIT make me sad. Why would you care if your bad team can beat other bad teams after the season is over?

Our bad team beat your terrible team by 12 points in your own arena. It's just the Committee cares more about November so that's why you're in.

Lets be honest, the Ags have frick all else to cheer for come November every year.

While the rest of us are enjoying football they are building up a basketball powerhouse.

Didn't State kick A&M's teeth in a few weeks ago? 93-81 was the score?

For years I thought NIT stood for the NOT IN TOURNAMENT tournament. Honestly I have no idea what it stands for...because those teams aren’t in the tournament.

They’re still like top-85 teams out of 330.

kind of like the bowl games for teams who don't make the top 4, and the other Sugar, Orange, Rose and Fiesta Bowl teams
