He underachieved massively in 2018 and 2019 sucked but making a bowl and winning the Egg Bowl is a solid season for State historically and those were his first two seasons ever at HC. He was recruiting above State's average and unlike Leach's offense, his could eventually work against SEC defenses other than those coached by Pelini.

They wouldn't have been nearly this bad imo. Imagine an offense that actually used your best player some

To be fair, it's pretty retarded to fire any college coach after two seasons unless they're a Chad Morris-level HC who's getting blown out every week.

like I said, Moorehead underachieved in 2018, 2019 was a rebuilding year and sucked, but I'm confident you wouldn't be getting shut out every time you play a neurotypical DC

Moorehead was going south in a hurry, at least there's only one direction for Leach to go. We may not know much for a while, however.

2019 shouldn't have been a rebuilding year. It was also riddled with more locker room issues than the team now. He doesn't have his players and he hasn't drained the swamp so to speak. Once this team buys into the system with decent players we will be fine. We have walk ons starting.

Not at all. Moorehead was a joke and killed that locker room. Leach is having to clean house and clean up Moorehead’s mess. Leach will do fine at MSU. I always look at year 3 when judging a new head coach.

Leach is the most overrated coach in college in college football.

They’ve made back to back bad hires. Will take years to recover, Arkansas fans know it well.

Leach is having to clean house because the players think he’s an idiot.

3 years? How many did Moorehead got? Two years! I never liked the Leach hired at MSU. Why no one wanted him and he ended up at places where no top HCs would go there. Now if MSU had fired him a month earlier that might have been better and hired someone else better. But if there was no one else then you stick with him for another year and then you try to find someone lese if similar results or worst. You do not fired someone and ended with what we are seeing is historically worst offense in the SEC. Rule of thumb you do not fired someone and doesn't have a coach lined up to take over. This is what happened to MSU. Ole Miss got Kiffin and that was a good one. Missouri got one that was good too. Missouri problem is talents. Not many SEC talents and need to get those and would compete a lot better. Hopefully Leach can shut up the ones that doesn't see Leach is a good fit for MSU. I still think he will flopped at MSU. It is hard to get players but harder to get his offense to work against SEC teams that know how to shut down air raid offense.

There’s a reason Leach’s disciples get good coaching gigs but he ends up in places WSU and MSU. He’s a clown and his act wears thin over time. His last team at WSU had a losing record so it’s not like they were getting better. Nick Rolovich will do better at WSU than Leach.
