If we can get 1 win we’ll still be in good shape.

Worse case State get's one, best case State gets two. I don't think either team will sweep each other, coaches and players are too good. Can't wait.

Rocker seems like he is wearing down. I think if State wants any shot at the series it’s gonna have to include a Friday win.

I see no chance of a Saturday win. Leiter probably going to bounce back angry and flirt with his second no hitter.

Sunday obviously the most winnable game for State. Bullpen is much deeper than Vandy’s, could see it playing out similarly to last Sunday’s game against Ole Miss.

I think we all realize Rocker and Leiter are the class of the league. They may not be unbeatable but dang close.

Your coach does allow much higher pitch counts which can wear down a pitcher and could hurt Vandy late in the year.

Plus, State is no slouch of a team. Their hitting is getting better and better. They have good starting pitching with probably the deepest bullpen with may be the best closer in Sims.

I do not expect a State series win but it can happen on a given weekend, why not this weekend? I am just wishing to get one win but I am not ruling out hope for a 2nd.

35 scholarships, Vandy, takes Friday and Saturday while 11.7 scholarships, Mississippi State, salvages the Sunday game.

If the State pitchers throw 50% breaking balls at the knees they'll get the sweep. Elevate the breaking balls and the VandyBoys will tee off. UT pitchers went heavy on breaking stuff low 8n the zone in games 1&2 and had great success. Their game 3 strategy of throwing high hangers didn't work out so well

Half of the fans will be mad at the ump, possibly all of them.

Whatever happens, I hope both Vandy whistlers get their teeth loosened by a crushed foul ball.

I'm opposite, I think Bednar is equal or better than Leiter when he locates. I would gladly take a loss Friday night if we can get into their pen earlier than usual. The key to the series for State is 5,6,7. These guys need to get on base and use up pitch counts, like they haven't done all year.

Bednar is great, but he’s not in the same stratosphere as Leiter.
