Since 2007, there have been 7 SEC appearances in national title games by teams not named Alabama. 4 different teams (LSU 3x, Auburn 2x, UGA, Florida)
In all other P5 conferences combined, there have been 6 different teams.
Removing the top team during that span from each conference (which is what you're doing when you remove Bama to judge the SEC), there have been only two: FSU and Texas.

Why 2007? Florida made it in 2006. And fricking beat Ohio state.

Ohio State fans are completely SEC-sessed. Been that way since the conference started to dominate

And they didn't just beat them, they humiliated them. Their Heisman-winning QB had the worst game I've ever seen. I'm not kidding. With his -29 yards rushing, he ended up with 6 total yards for the game with an interception.
