Rolled up another night of big time yards against another top 10 team like it was nothing

Showed his toughness by intentionally popping right back up off the ground when he got clocked. Also got rolled up on and shook it off like punch from a 4 year old. That would have sent other contenders to the hospital

Demonstrated unquestionable leadership of his offense, as always

Made very few mistakes, but when he did he showed character by owning them and not blaming someone else for them.

How am I wrong?

You are wrong because if he sucks against Bama, he's likely not winning it.

Fields is going to win it, if I had to guess

How many October Heismans is that for LSU now? I know Fournette won at least two. Pile up those trophies!

If he beats Bama he will have won the Heisman.

How many other Heisman QB winners had to have this on their resume?

Fields plays for Ohio State, a B1G team that the media loves. There is also a very real possibility that these two will meet later in the year, and tOSU is a better team all around

If Burrow had beaten a Tua-led Alabama, it would probably be his. But now Bama is playing with a backup QB so that win will be tarnished in the media's eyes

Fields is going to win - wait and see

I couldn't tell you. I was too busy watching Tennessee kick South Carolina's arse.

Not likely with 1 touchdown and 1 interception, with a ESPN qb rating of 60.9 against the first good defense he faced. LINK

For the sake of comparison Alabama's second team qb, Mac Jones rated 94.4, and yes, I realize the Auburn defense is better than Arkansas.

To me he has to beat Bama. Unless MAYBE if it is a 48-45 type loss and his numbers are perfect and we go on to finish 11-1 and look to be in the playoff.

Not a lot of TD.

If it wasn't for the horrendous holding by LSU's OL he would have been sacked 8 times.

The Heisman is a media prize. Will be hard to beat Fields if they win out even if Burrow is better and plays in a much, much tougher conference.

So he hasn’t won it.
