Even worse than vacating wins is what the NCAA did to Mississippi State back in the 1970’s. They forced us to forfeit 19 wins and 2 ties from 1975-1977 because a football player received the same clothing discount at a local store that ALL students received.
It was and continues to be the biggest scam in the history of the NCAA. The whole thing was completely bogus. That is why Coach Bob Tyler got an injunction allowing the player to play because the whole thing was ludicrous. He never dreamed that the NCAA would actually win the case when they had no case.

This is in a single ruling right? I’m pretty sure Alabama has 29 total, 21 from the one scandal during Shula’s tenure (still think that’s ridiculous just for five football players selling some textbooks). Penn State has 111 courtesy of JoePa but somehow we’re able to get them reinstated as part of a settlement

Alabama has 29 forfeited/vacated wins. If not for those, we'd be coming up on Michigan for the #1 spot in all-time wins.
