They are #2 in the SEC and #3 in the nation in passing defense. Definitely the most underrated part of our defense this year has been the secondary. They have played quite well back there so far this season.

Let's see if it's a factor on Saturday.

Auburn has no chance Saturday.

Bama is far and away the best team in the country.

I won't even be able to watch the game due to sadness.

They have played 2 mediocre teams and 9 dead fish. Those 2 mediocre teams have awful passing games. Their stats can't help but be good

Colorado State and Fresno State are better than "mediocre"

With all the talk about Minkah I figured it was implied y'all have a good secondary

Averett and Wallace may be the best starting CB duo we've had in the Saban era. Fitzpatrick may also be the best overall S but Harrison/Jones/Thompson may take away that superlative from the safeties.

Of course he is a good, but everybody knew that going in the year. It is the corner play that has surprised me. Levi Wallace went from a walk on, to starter, and now he is showing up in draft projections. He is the real surprise.

Granted I don't follow Alabama football as closely so I just assume y'all will always have a lights out secondary

whoopty dooo!!!

Outside of DJ Chark for LSU (5/6, 150 yds) AU's D is holding number one receivers to an average of 4 catches for 51 yards per game against P5 competition.

This is setting up nicely for Auburn to to score 35 and throw for 400.

As long as there are bama fans, there will be no such thing as under talked about stats regarding bama's defense.

the frick are you taking about about. Harrison has been great this year. Who's leading the defense in both tackles and ints (tied with Wallace and Wilson)? Harrison. Hootie has not payed bad this year either

If Danny Etling was able to hit his receivers when LSU played Bama, that statistic wouldn’t be the same and Bama wouldn’t be undefeated or number 1 in the country

Like I told the UGA fans Auburn will be the most balanced offense Alabama has faced all year. They will have to defend the entire field on every play. That puts a lot of pressure on guys to think instead of react on defense.

I'm just saying that Fitzpatrick may be the best S we have had, but it is not the best duo/trio of safeties we have had.
