Impressive considering Devin White isnt predominately a pass rusher

Sweat also led the SEC in sacks and got most of those sacks in SEC play. Went the first four games without a sack and turned it on in the back 8 of the regular season.
It is going to be fun watching him and Simmons on the same side of the DL this year.

Jeff Holland - 62
That's a lot.
That's a lot.

Yeah, an inside linebacker on a list full of outside pass rushers

Geez 62 QB pressures by Holland is absurd. Had he just lifted the occasional weight he would have been a 3rd or 4th round draft pick.

Meh, he had at least half of those against MSU.

Expect K’Lavon Chaisson to be high on that list after this upcoming season

Cece and Jabari Zuniga moving to OLB will likely help them out, given their speed. Zuniga already feasted when allowed to pin his ears back.

It absolutely blows my mind that he went undrafted. And I don't even want to hear anyone's take as to why he was undrafted, because I'm not hearing it. The dude was a fricking animal last year, and apparently he is "blowing people away" in Denver camp so far.
quote:
Holland has already defied the odds, and is working to maximize his opportunity in Denver. He’s already made a strong impression on the coaching staff.
“We record all of the positive that guys make, and right now he’s blowing people away,” Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods said last week. “He had a big day at the end of last week in OTAs, but right now he’s leading the charge. We just need to see what he does in training camp and in the preseason.”
If a coordinator is saying publicly that an undrafted rookie is “blowing people away”, we should all sit up and take notice. I’ve been told my more than one guy I trust that Holland has been making the second and third-team offensive tackles look silly at OTAs.

Arkansas' pass rush has been non-existent. I am confident that the chief will bring some more pressure this year, but with no talent Arkansas is set up for a terrible defensive year again

You're no Sean but I guess this will suffice

I've been gone a while, sounds like I've been supplanted by another nerd.
Can't take a day off in the meatgrinder that is Da Rant or you'll be replaced.

1. He actually will downsize your players so they'll be fast and teams will run all over you.
2. He doesn't recruit, so look forward to more terrible untalented defenses going forward.

Oh I know what we got into. I'm just looking for positives.

We have talent on the DL. Ramsey and Agim specifically, and we signed Dorian Gerald the #1 juco DE.
Bert just never let our DL actually rush the passer

Agim is slower than I expected with less explosiveness coming off the ball. I was somewhat disappointed that a guy that was running kickoffs back in high school at 270 lbs. was unable to make any difference on our d-line
