We're actually pretty thin at DE right now. We've been working out 4 guys there this Spring (Rasco, Allen, Hunter, Feist) with a 5th (Maclin) rehabbing an injury.

We'll lean heavily on the incoming true freshmen Herron, Bower, Neal, Beckwith, and Patterson.

How about none of the above.

LSU is the obvious answer.

Why?

We lost less players than both Bama and A&M, return our whole offense + Cam Cameron, and we played and started 2nd most freshmen in the country last year (20 something).

But yeah, nvm, I hope everyone keeps thinking that.

you also have by far the most difficult schedule out of the three

I'll go with aTm too. They have a pretty big target on their back.

But obviously I'm an LSU fan, so take that FWIW.

Anyways, back to work.

That might be thin for us, but not for other teams. And its not like these guys are scrubs. And M&M last year severely under produced. We will be fine, especially with our LB core that is full of freaks.

True. there are justifications for all 3 TBH.

Obviously a repeat of 1-1 is not out of the realm of possibilities. But, that's why I said most likely.

And to answer, its easily A&M. Bama will be pissed and they play at Death Valley.

Manziel isn't sneaking up on anyone; they lost incredible LT, their only defensive star (poor recruiting before this year), and they're clutch (and talented as hell) WR.

I think they finish with 2 loses. To LSU and Bama.

That is certainly an optimistic outlook and I hope you're right.

My first thoughts on this subject is they will split again this year. Same outcome as last year. BAMA will beat LSU in T-Town this year; I feel like LSU will beat A&M this year in Baton Rouge and I hope to be wrong on this but A&M wins again against BAMA in College Station.

CNS lead BAMA teams have been pretty damn tough to beat twice in a row; seems like the revenge games tend be arse whoopings by BAMA.

Its tough to go undefeated in the SEC, especially in the western division. Although Bama did in 08&09, Au did in 10, and LSU did in 11 so the past history says otherwise from what I believe. Should be a great year and their should be a lot of great games.

Yep, but its about these 3 teams head-to-head and we all have BYES before facing each other.

Bama will be pissed, Saban loves rematches. TAMU plays at LSU.

It didn't seem to hurt LSU in 2011 like I thought it would

Doesn't Bama have the same or did I just make that up?

A&M lost more on defense than people are acknowledging. The entire front 7 is gone. That is not a good situation to be in. I expect to see teams running at will on our D. We'll score some points, make no mistake. I don't expect ANY falloff from last year. In fact, I expect the offense to improve.

I think we have about 20 listed on roster, and with Chavis as position coach, we should be in good shape.

Yeah we dominated that schedule. I attribute a lot of that to preparing so hard for the opening game against Oregon. Hopefully the TCU preparation does the same thing.

I think 1-1 for each is most likely. LSU loses to Bama, Bama loses to A&M, and LSU beats A&M.

BUT if we had to say what team is MOST LIKELY to lose 2, its got to be A&M.

Bama loses more of their offensive line and RBs. We return our QB, our leading receiver, more RBs, etc...
