I counted an explosive play as either a 20+ yard run or 20+ yard reception. I understand different outlets count explosive plays differently.

For this first list, I ordered it based on average "explosive plays" per game. I did this because some RBs obviously played in more games than others, so a raw value based on the total plays would be misleading.

**Explosive plays per game**

1. Leonard Fournette (LSU): 1.41
2. Todd Gurley (UGA): 1.40
3. Darren McFadden (ARK): 1.32
4. Knowshon Moreno (UGA): 1.31
5. Rafael Little (UK): 1.30

For fun, here is a list of RBs with the most 40+ yard runs since 2005... I can do a per game list of this one too if anybody wants

**Most 40+ yds runs**

1. Nick Chubb (UGA): 16
2. Leonard Fournette (LSU): 13
2. Darren McFadden (ARK): 13
4. Derrius Guice (LSU): 12
4. Felix Jones (ARK): 12

Felix Jones straight up feasted on defenses keying on McFadden and the wildcat offense and then went on to have a good NFL career.

No doubt. I knew he was good, but I was a little surprised to see him at the top of the list.

Kamara would be damn near the top of the yards from scrimmage list if Lyle wasn't a complete fricking idiot purple faced hedgehog piece of shite.

One of my favorite UF backs ever . He definitely had burners but was also great off the field too.

That's a good list but it leaves off a player unlike any seen before or since.

Percy Harvin
194 att (5.38/gm)
1852 yards
9.5 ypc
19 TDs

Are QBs not allowed? I feel like Cam Newton had to average about 2 20+ yard runs per game. Though I bet he didn't have any in the cupcake games, which would bring down his average.

Also surprised to not see Derrick Henry on the list. He seemed to break off on a super long run multiple times in every game I saw him play.

Jones and McFadden were lethal. Reminded me of Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown. Thunder and Lightning combos.

You knew EXACTLY what you were doing when you started this thread. Not sure why, but it's happened.

Yep. Brent Fullwood to some extent as well, but he was the feature back in a one back offense in 1986.

AND, here is the crazy thing...

In 1986, the year Fullwood was the focus and primary back, he averaged 8.3 yards per carry over 167 carries.

That is crazy good.
