This is a nice state and indicative of why TAM will not win more than 9 games this year. This is Mond’s fourth year as a starter. I know he didn’t start every game as a freshman, but he started enough that year , plus two full seasons to prove that he can win big games. Kid forces the ball down the field, refuses to take what the defense gives him , is inaccurate when pressured and hasn’t improved a bit in three years.

Coker with 6 in one season. That 15 Bama team was damn good.

Jarrett lee has 4-5 alone in the 2011 season. Surprisingly, he won a few big games early on despite the pick 6’s

Eta: Jefferson gets credit for “winning” some of those, but Jarrett Lee came in towards the end of the game to save the offense, ie Florida in 2010.

He had 5.

Not bad for a cornerback.

13 overall as a starter between the SEC and the Big 12.

AJ McCarron had 6 pre-dating the playoffs. Though considering that, he could not have ended with more than 8.

Jay Barker had 9 I think. Of course that's back in the 90s, but I was curious.

Fromm best year had 4 in a season.
Hutson Mason had 4 in a season.

If Hutson Mason can match Jake Fromm, is it unrealistic that an NFL prospect can do better?

I misread the post. James Franklin beat 6 ranked teams but only 3 teams that ended the year ranked, thanks to A&M and UGA choking

Jake Fromm wasn’t an NFL prospect when he was being mocked in the first round headed into his junior year?

Your question has no relevance to Hutson Mason and Jamie Newman. Fromm is no longer an NFL prospect. He was drafted in the NFL.

If Hutson Mason can win 4 games against AP final top 25 opponents, can an NFL prospect do better?

The answer is yes.

Mallet only started 2 years and was involved in 3 controversial losses, including 2009 against Florida. His 4 wins all came in the 2010 season.
