Before former Alabama co-offensive coordinator Josh Gattis left Tuscaloosa, he had to make a stop in Nick Saban’s office.

The Crimson Tide head coach had just lost Mike Locksley — his other coordinator — to Maryland. He was peeved when Gattis told him he was following Locksley to College Park.

“I had just left a meeting with Nick Saban,” Gattis said on Jim Harbaugh’s Attack Each Day podcast, “getting my butt chewed out for about 20 minutes telling him I was leaving...It didn’t go over well.”

It obviously affected him. After all, he's the one virtue signaling for a pity party from another media event.

Saban's a dick head. We've all known that for decades, right?

It's just hilarious he's losing his shite over an assistant. The old man might actually be losing a few screws.

Not sure why someone would tolerate a 20 minute rant after telling his boss he was leaving for another job. Gattis should’ve endured about 20 seconds then fricked that lil mofo up.

He gets to be Harbaugh’s next fall guy now. Terrific recruiter. But not ready to call an offense.

Dickhead? Maybe but Saban was showing him how to tell a rat by by who just jumped ship. Saban should have had a sock monkey with two rolls of quarters inside and showed him the error of his action.

Yeah god forbid he take a promotion. Just shows how selfish Saban is.

No. It’s starting to look like his exit from Penn State last year. That was for a promotion too. But he burned some bridges on the way out. Not quite that bad this go around. But starting to look petty. But maybe that’s just Harbaugh fanning the flames.

I could see Saban acting like an a-hole about Gattis leaving but twenty minutes sounds like an extreme exaggeration.
