Have heard....
The Saturday, Oct. 9, Southeastern Conference football game between Georgia and Auburn @Auburn will kick off at either 12:00 noon or 3:30 p.m. ET according to an announcement Monday by the SEC office. Game time and televising network will be set following games of Oct. 2.
Georgia and Auburn will play at either 12:00 noon ET on ESPN or 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Arkansas at Ole Miss is the other game under consideration.
If both Georgia and Alabama win this coming weekend, then UGA's game vs. Auburn will more likely be @3:30pm ET. CBS is waiting to take advantage of what they've paid for.
Noon KO games are moving up in importance due to direct competition from Fox's Noon KO games...all about the money.

Hopefully Arkansas and Ole Miss both win this weekend and setup a showdown for the West in Oxford on Oct 9.

Hell, Auburn is playing like it’s an 11 am game regardless of the kickoff time, so bring it on. Better to get the misery out of the way early in the day.
