Gameday actually really sucks if you are anywhere in the vicinity.

I would say the same thing if my school has only hosted it 3 times.

It's never usually that bad unless you want to be at the front.

I was talking more about it taking up a big chunk of prime tailgating turf.

Where did Georgia put it? Near that dumb tiny archway?

Florida puts it right in front of the stadium on the Gator Walk. It's removed well before kickoff so it doesn't effect foot traffic. No one tailgates on that sidewalk because you're not allowed to.

Georgia just sounds like they're dumb at where they place it. Plus, how hammered are you getting before noon tailgating for a game that's at night when Gameday is there?

Georgia being Georgia.

In one of the main quads on campus.

UGA deserves better trolls than we're getting this off season.

I actually thought Vandy or Kentucky would have been zero in one of the categories. I am glad every SEC school has experienced Game Day on their campus.

Does Missouri count?
Their last (and only) one was in 2010

Technically it counts. They did get to host it, even if they weren't in the SEC at the time. Those Mizzou teams in the in 2008-2011 era were pretty damn good (but so was Kansas, so the world was upside down then).

Who in the world cares? Florida STILL sucks. ESPN college game day is nothing to hoop n holler about. Then again, that's about ALL UF has to brag about, except for their very own brand new Gator Transfer Portal. Congratulations.

Well they’ve probably hosted it several times in Jacksonville when UGA was the home team, so should that count? If not then when we move it out of there I think we’ll see an increase in that

Did Gameday once in Tuscaloosa. It was really fun and worth getting out there at 3am. Later that day I was carrying my sign back to my vehicle and an old couple recognized me from tv and wanted a picture.

Not really anything to laugh at, IMO. The layout of our campus is kind of hard to do a gameday without totally fricking up everythign around it. When they came in 1998 they had to setup on the damn roof of the tate center, you can imagine the logistical nightmare there. They've been back twice in the richt era and set up on meyers quad, but that's a pretty small patch of grass right off a main thoroughfare in the heart of campus.

YOu see gameday all the time set up somehwere with the stadium in the background but based on our layout that's simply impossible.

The best place to put it was the 1st place they put it in 98 I believe which was on the roof of the student center overlooking Sanford bridge and into the stadium.
